The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources invites hunters, birders and anyone else interested in our state's sharp-tailed grouse population to attend an open house to weigh in on future management of the species.
The open house will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at The Bird Sanctuary Clubhouse, Douglas County Wildlife Area, 12988 Bird Rd., Gordon, WI, 54838.
This year, the DNR will draft an update to the state's sharp-tailed grouse management plan. To kick things off, we're hosting an open house to share information on current management and answer your questions about the management planning process.
DNR staff are looking forward to meeting with you during the event and answering your questions.
