La Crosse's Monsoor newest millionaire on FLW Tour

STODDARD, WI - He's the million dollar man!
La Crosse's Tom Monsoor cracked the $1 million mark on the FLW Tour, winning the FLW Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit Super Tournament on the Mississippi River in Stoddard, WI, on Saturday.
Monsoor not only won his second tour event on the FLW Tour in 17 years, but collected a whopping $125,000.
"What happened? I don't believe it," he said after the final weigh-in. "I'm in the ($1 million) club. "This is unbelievable."
Monsoor's final weight was his lowest of the four-day event - 12 pounds, 10 ounces for a 54-10 total. However, he was extra happy because he nipped another top-notch angler. Jacob Wheeler, from Harrison, TN, finished with 52-14 and won $35,000.
"I not only beat the best guys, but I beat the guy who is the top-ranked fisherman in the world and were great friends," Monsoor said.
Despite winning it on the river he grew up on, Monsoor said he may never do it again, "But I did it!"
Monsoor caught four largemouth and one smallmouth on Saturday.
He will be back on the water on Sunday.
"Oh, yeah. I'm going fishin, just like I do everyday. But tomorrow I've got to take guys out fishing for the FLW Day 5 TV show," he said.
