Women's golf series kicks off at Trempealeau Mountain

TREMPEALEAU, WI - Jay Farmer is presenting a two-part women's lesson series in June at Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club in Trempealeau, WI.
General manager Ellari Aune said the women's lesson series is designed to be an introduction to golf.
"Golf can be very intimidating when you are first starting, and a lot of times after you have been playing for years," she said. "We want to help ladies have more fun by being comfortable with all of the rules, etiquette and swing technique."
The 6 p.m., June 20 clinic will focus on basic rules, etiquette and swing introduction. The 6 p.m., June 27 clinic is titled, "Swing Introduction - Part 2." Entry fee is $10 per person each night.
Trempealeau Mountain is offering wine, food and drink specials after the clinics each night.
Farmer, of Farmer Golf Instruction, has previous teaching experience at Painted Mountain and Whistling Straits.
"Jay will be doing a more advanced clinic after this to help with course management and planning your shots," she said.
To register, contact 608-534-7417. Space is limited, according to Aune.
